Synopsis:
Oscar Nominee LIAM NEESON elegantly narrates this powerful film which documents the hectic events leading up to POPE JOHN PAUL II's historic visit to the Sea of Galilee at the turn of the millenium.
With stunning photography and score, this film takes us behind the scenes where a small group of people accomplished the impossible - battling storms of rain and mud to build a venue for a mass of 100,000 people in a matter of weeks.

On February 18, 2000 an Israeli contractor named Adam arrived at the Mount of Beatitudes with a small team and a handful of bulldozers to prepare the site for the visit of the pope.

A month later Pope John Paul II led the mass for 100,000 pilgrims becoming the first Pope ever to stand where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount.

"Inherit The Earth" is the story behind the story. It shows that when people work together, miracles can truly happen. And it proves that the human spirit can truly overcome 2000 years of human prejudice.
